Refund & Cancellation Policy
A documented process for project concerns.
01How this policy applies
Our services are customized to an author’s manuscript and agreed brief. Cancellation and refund requests are reviewed against the accepted proposal, the work performed, approved expenses, and applicable law. The final project agreement must disclose any booking fee, cancellation charge, refund deadline, or other specific condition before payment. This page does not advertise an unconditional money-back guarantee.
02Requesting a review
Email [email protected] with your name, project or invoice reference, the service concerned, and the reason for your request. Identify any deliverable or milestone that differs from the agreement and include relevant correspondence. Do not send full card numbers, passwords, or banking credentials.
03Cancellation before or during work
Tell us in writing as soon as you wish to cancel. We will establish the project’s status and identify work already completed, work not yet delivered, and authorized third-party commitments. Any proposed deduction or refundable balance will be explained with reference to the written agreement. A request does not automatically create or waive a right to a refund.
04Quality concerns and revisions
Describe the issue against the agreed scope so it can be assessed. Where appropriate, the parties can agree on a correction, an included revision, replacement of a deficient deliverable, or a financial adjustment. Requests for a new concept, added manuscript content, or a changed brief are assessed as scope changes. Revision allowances do not override remedies required by law.
05Delays and incomplete materials
If a milestone is missed, contact us so the cause and next steps can be discussed. We distinguish delivery issues within our control from delays caused by missing materials, delayed approvals, a changed brief, or third-party processing. Any remedy is assessed under the agreement and applicable law; delay does not automatically determine the outcome of a refund request.
06Third-party expenses
Printing, advertising, platform charges, and licensed assets may have separate cancellation rules. Such costs should be approved before they are incurred. We will distinguish recoverable and nonrecoverable authorized expenses when reviewing a request and will not treat an undisclosed cost as automatically chargeable.
07Approval and processing
An agreed refund is confirmed in writing with the amount, calculation, method, and expected processing date. Processing through banks or payment providers may take additional time. Keep the confirmation and contact us if the stated date passes without an update. We do not require you to surrender any nonwaivable consumer rights to ask for a review.
08Outcomes and statutory rights
Book sales, rankings, reviews, awards, or publicity are not guaranteed outcomes of an editing, design, publishing, or marketing service. Refund decisions concern the agreed service and the circumstances of the request, subject to applicable law. Nothing in this policy limits a cancellation right, refund, or other remedy that the law requires.
