Privacy Policy
How information moves through your enquiry.
01Who this notice covers
This notice explains how American Books Publish handles information collected through this website, initial enquiries, and related correspondence. Contact: American Books Publish, 15615 Brookwood Lake Place, Sugar Land, TX 77498-7143, United States. Email [email protected] or call +1 713 769 4986.
02Information you provide
The enquiry form requests your name, email address, selected service, book stage, and project message. It also records your acknowledgement of this notice. A reference is generated for a successful enquiry. Please do not include passwords, payment credentials, sensitive identity documents, or an entire manuscript in the form. Additional material needed for a project is discussed separately.
03Technical information and abuse prevention
The server receives connection information, including an IP address and request headers, to operate the site. The enquiry handler uses a keyed, one-way representation of the connecting IP address to enforce request limits. Its rate counters expire after one hour and expired records are removed on subsequent form requests. The handler does not store the message body in its rate-limit file. Hosting providers may maintain separate access, security, or error logs.
04Essential cookies
The form uses the abp_enquiry session cookie to associate a browser with a security token and help prevent forged submissions. The token expires after one hour; the cookie is configured as a session cookie. Blocking this cookie can prevent form submission. The current website does not include advertising cookies, analytics scripts, or browser-storage tracking. Fonts and portfolio images are served with the website.
05Why information is used
Information is used to answer your enquiry, prepare a proposal, communicate about agreed work, maintain appropriate business records, prevent abuse, and respond to legal obligations. We do not add enquiry senders to a promotional mailing list automatically. Any future optional marketing or tracking feature will require an updated notice and the choices required by applicable law.
06Email delivery and service providers
Form messages are sent through authenticated Google/Gmail SMTP to our designated business inbox. Our hosting provider, email delivery provider, and receiving mailbox provider process the information needed to provide their services. Authorized people supporting an agreed project may receive relevant information when necessary to perform that work. We do not sell enquiry information or use this form to share it for targeted advertising.
07Retention and access
Enquiries and project correspondence may remain in the business mailbox for follow-up, service administration, and applicable record-keeping needs. Retention depends on those purposes and any legal obligations; the one-hour rate-counter period does not apply to email messages or provider logs. Ask us about information associated with your enquiry or request deletion where appropriate.
08Security and processing locations
The form uses validation, session-based request verification, request limits, and encrypted SMTP transport. Passwords are stored in server-side configuration outside the public website directory. Use the HTTPS version of the site when submitting information. Providers may process information in countries where they operate, including the United States. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
09Your choices
You may contact us by email or phone instead of using the form. Contact the address above to request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing. Available rights, exceptions, and response requirements depend on applicable law. We may need reasonable verification before releasing or changing personal information. Do not send identity documents unless a suitable verification method has been agreed.
10Children and external links
The website is directed to adults seeking author services and does not solicit personal information from children. A parent or guardian should contact us before sharing a child’s information. External links, such as Facebook, are governed by the destination’s policies; a simple link does not embed its tracking code on this site.
11Changes to this notice
We update this notice when relevant practices change. The latest revision date appears above. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law. Questions about this notice can be sent to our published business contact details.
